Objectives: What do you want to achieve by implementing the project?

This project aims enchance young individuals, offering them tools and training opportunities to become skilled tour guides, emphasizing local heritage preservation and eco-friendly tourism. The objectives include equipping the youth with digital and guiding skills, facilitating their active contribution to sustainable community development. Through a specially crafted app, young guides will create, manage, and promote eco-friendly tours, enhancing local and international tourism experiences.

Implementation: What activities are you going to implement?

We will create youth guide teams and train them in cultural heritage and sustainable tourism. A dedicated app will be developed for guides to create and share eco-friendly tours. The activity involves collaborative learning, hands-on training, and digital skills enhancement. Tours in partner countries will offer practical experience, and dissemination activities will spread the project’s impact broadly.

Results: What results do you expect your project to have?

We anticipate empowering 45 youth as skilled guides, enhancing their knowledge in cultural heritage and eco-tourism. The app will serve as a dynamic platform for interactive learning and community engagement. Local institutions and communities will be more intertwined, fostering a shared appreciation for cultural and natural assets. Cross-border collaborations from the tours will induce a multicultural learning environment, driving innovation and shared learning in sustainable tourism.
