Project Description:
Objectives: What do you want to achieve by implementing the project?
The WAVE project aims to empower young migrants by improving their digital skills and fostering their inclusion in the digital world. It seeks to build the capacities of youth workers and digital trainers, equipping them with tools to support migrant youth. The project also promotes active citizenship among young individuals through peer-to-peer learning, encouraging community engagement and reducing the digital divide.
Implementation: What activities are you going to implement?
WAVE implements key activities across 5 work packages, including the co-creation of a Digital Toolkit and the publication of a report on young migrants’ digital literacy (WP2). It also include training youth workers and digital trainers (WP3), delivering digital skills courses and peer-to-peer programs for Young migrants (WP4). To spread its results WAVE organises specific local and international events as the Digital Skills Inclusion Days and the Transnational Conference (WP5).
Results: What project results and other outcomes do you expect your project to have?
WAVE expects to produce an accesible Digital Toolkit available in 5 languages, benefiting 190 youth workers and digital trainers. 270 young migrants will complete a 20-hour digital skills course and 110 local peers will participate in peer-to- peer programs. The project will enhance digital literacy, foster inclusion, and build cross-national networks, impacting local communities and advancing the digital readiness of marginalized youth across Europe.
