Project Description:
Objectives
VET education in many countries, lacks of high-end applications, and modern instructional tools such as VR technology. Although trainers acknowledge that they need some constant skill improvement, they also do not find educational opportunities and curriculums to improve their skillset and mindset for including innovative approaches to their classes. Also, they cannot afford some of the needed equipment in order to experiment, and then implement lesson plans in order to become “trainers 4.0”. Activities There will be training on VR equipment and some demonstration of various educational tools, on many subjects. Also, there will be a comparison of different education-oriented VR equipment/software. Moreover, a web platform will be built which includes instructional material which will be categorized and demonstrated to other Vet trainers/tutors/staff in local multiplier and national dissemination events. Furthermore, there will be surveys for measuring the changes in the learning process. Impact Instructional material and learning objects (lesson plans, case studies, educational scenarios, good practices) will be designed and uploaded, for a variety of subjects open for enhancement, review, discussion, and feedback. Also, there will be created a complete VR GUIDE FOR VET EDUCATION IN EUROPE with guidelines, FAQS, instructions, and benchmarking for VET schools/centers that want to include VR tools in their curriculums. Finally, a network/community of VET VR Trainers will be formed.
