The idea for the project FAITH arises from a simple striking realization: the advent of mass commercial, free to use, accessible AIs in our societies. At the moment of writing there are many thousands of new AI tools available online, specialized in all kinds of sectors of human endeavor, and this is only considering those which are freely available. In short time those institutions, businesses, organisations and individuals that will not make use of AI will face an increasing competitive gap compared to the actors that will. The scale of the revolution is increased further by the sheer amount and diversity of AIs. To date, any organizational process can be improved with such tools.

We believe that the field of Youth Work is not going to be immune to such revolutionary changes. This project aims to spot all the opportunities to increase the quality of work and eliminate inefficiencies that APG and the partner organizations can seize through the use of such instruments, for their relevance and potential is such that cannot be ignored.

FAITH will bolster the streamlining of the processes of three partners involved in youth work and will identify the artificial intelligence tools and software best suited to support these processes, collecting the results of the research in the Manual on Artificial Intelligence in Youth Work.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The project will consist of four phases:

1. Process analysis and pinpointing of processes that most need to be improved.
2. Research, analysis and selection of AI tools which can be used to significantly improve the processes identified in the previous phase.
3. Testing and final drafting of the Manual.
4. Dissemination of project results. Publication and distribution of the Manual.

INTELLECTUAL OUTPUTS:

The project will provide a solid basis for the introduction of AI-based solutions in youth work processes, both for the partners involved in the project and for other stakeholders. Youth Workers will be empowered with all the capabilities of the new AI tools at their disposal, increasing the quality of work and reducing the inefficiencies. The results will enable us and everyone we can reach to reap the benefits of the AI revolution, staying at the forefront of innovation and change.
